This simplified map focuses on those destinations preferred by most first time visitors to Linville Gorge. This is probably the only map you’ll need for your first few day hikes.
The map can be used with any PDF viewer, but is especially designed to work well with smartphones using the free app Avenza PDF Maps, which shows not only the map but also a “you are here” marker to help keep you from getting lost.
