Restoration work continued today on the eroded Linville Gorge Trail switchbacks below Bynum Bluff.  The crew blocked the many shortcuts using last Saturday’s brush trimmings, dug out an inviting full bench to keep hikers on trail, moved gigantic rocks for steps and retaining walls, and finally dressed it all up with fresh autumn leaves.
