A nice crew convened from all over the state to clean up the Linville Gorge Trail from Spence Ridge to Conley Cove.  Trash collected and cached in previous weeks was all finally hauled out today.  

Kayah Gaydish of Wild South had a nice volunteer turnout today to remove invasive paulownia trees at Table Rock and Devil’s Cellar.    

The SAWS crew pulled out today, ending the first of their three hitches for this fall in Linville Gorge.  After 8 days camped below Conley Cove, they’ve cleared approximately 150 fallen trees off the Linville Gorge Trail.  More work is … Continued
