Heavy rains overwhelmed clogged culverts today and cut trails at Linville Falls. \u00a0Volunteers cleared the culverts, but the damaged trails may need heavy equipment and new gravel.<\/p>\n

Clearing Clogged Culverts at Linville Falls<\/a>Clogged culverts were overwhelmed by heavy rains and snow melt on NPS and NFS lands at Linville Falls last week. Some of the trails were badly damaged. Volunteers arrived to clear the culverts, but gravel and heavy equipment may be needed for the trails.<\/p>\n
