Volunteers Remove Trash from Wiseman’s View

posted in: Trail Work | 0

With spectacular views, starring both Hawksbill and Table Rock Mountains, Wiseman’s View is one of the most popular overlooks in the Gorge. Most of its thousands of visitors come to take pictures and enjoy the scenery, but others come for more nefarious reasons. About a week ago, volunteers discovered thousands of pounds of trash that had been thrown off the clifftops. Today, a team of Linville Gorge enthusiasts hiked in to begin removing it.
